Welcome to Living on the B Side – a place to share our love of music!
I’ve always loved Music, it was and is part of my daily life. There are so many genres and songs that are connected with special moments, memories or phases in my life.
This is what ‘Living on the B Side’ is all about – songs that for one reason or the other I love and listen to. Mainly from the 80’s to the late 90’s, I want to share these with you in the hope that you find a new artist or band or even genre of music that brings you as much joy as they bring me.
‘Living on the B Side’ also wants to highlight the positive impact Music can bring, how it can change a person’s life, so if you have a favourite song that means HEAPS to you please get in touch & share it with me. Let’s build a community where this passion for music can be shared far and wide.
Much love & music, Birgit
Monique shares why she was singing at the top of her lungs and letting out all my emotions to this Pink song. And yes, it’s a relationship post….
“Donʼt you take my dreams away
That youʼll change, change, change
That youʼll change the world but tomorrow, but tomorrow’’
Recently I learned that hard way that rushing some or many things isn’t the way to go. It can actually cause more issues than it’s worth and cause a feeling of embarrassment and self-doubt.
I want you to hold on for one more day and know that you can break free from those chains of whatever it is you are suffering from…even if it’s only for a short while
On Sunday I was taking my inner geek out to attend the ‘All Hell Breaks Loose 8’ Supernatural Event here in Melbourne. It was a day with a special moment that I won’t forget.
Have you noticed how often people these days say something but it means nothing? Or what is being said is hurtful, disrespectful and not necessary? I often think ‘’Silence is golden….it’s often wise to say nothing.’
Every day we all write another page in the current chapter of our lives. We might not write it down as such, but your life story unfolds every day and you have to choose how this page will be written.
Where is the love?! This song released by The Black Eyed Peas back in June 2003 still is so relevant that in a way it scares me.
We all know life never goes straight, positive and without any troubles. So how do we react when it does get rough?!
