To BTS, With Love

Aussie ARMY Stories

Contribution by: Charlie

To my younger self who stood confused in storms of doubt, afraid, and unsure.

The world spun loud, but often felt small, with dreams half-formed and ready to fall.

How I wished the younger me had heard your music and felt set free.

That Magic Shop had reached her ears to quiet down those hidden fears.

That she had known in Epiphany‘s light her worth was hers—her birthright.

That Love Myself was more than a phrase but a path through all the shadowed days.

If I could reach back to my younger self, I would say hold fast, be kind, don’t run away.

You are not alone; you are not too late, as you hold the pen—you shape your fate.

To my current self who still needed strength, understanding and a healing place

BTS walked into my life with lyrics that comfort, heal and provides a lifeline

BTS, you taught me to rise, to fight, to soar— to love myself and ask for more.

When the world feels heavy and the night long, your words give me peace and hope.

Although my younger self never knew your songs, those words now help me to stand strong.

Now I share your messages, so deep and bright, with my son, my nieces, and those in my light.

In their heart’s they know to love themselves and be proud of who they are.

Through every struggle, they’ll find their way, with BTS’s words lighting each day.

So thank you, BTS, for being yourselves and for showing love through every snare.

For being more than just a name, but rather our hope and guiding light in every day.

Lots of love and affection from your Aussie ARMY,

Charlie
