About this Episode

In today’s episode I am going way back to the mid 1980’s and the hit TV show Miami Vice and the song ‘Crockett’s Theme’ composed by Jan Hammer.

The song refers to one of the main characters James “Sonny” Crockett played by Don Johnson and was aired in the first episode in October 1984.

Listening to this song brings back a huge flash of emotions: hope, excitement, flow as well as pondering, reflection. But not only that – it’s also about the evolution of music and fashion. So many new things came out of this TV show, especially the music, including this song, have left a huge imprint on me.

I share my thoughts around this song and what I am taking away from it, apart from what I have mentioned above, and I suggest a way to use it as a tool to do some soul-digging.

If you have a memory or experience to share to this song, please message me, I would love to hear about out.
